Can you add medium model with multi language support?
I find it to be the best in terms of balance between quality and performance.

Hey @thewh1teagle , could you provide more details about what you are mentioning here ? Note that the underlying idea in distilling a model here is to trade multilingual capacities for inference speed. That is why we managed to get a distilled model that performs very closely to vanilla Whisper one. A multilingual distilled model is still possible, see this discussion for more details https://github.com/huggingface/distil-whisper/issues/107
