I created Air Traffic Control specialized Automatic Speech Recognition models. Using a pre-trained model (Whisper) they work better than ATC models built from the ground up using significantly less training data by successful use of transfer learning.
The work will be presented at the upcoming (1-4th July 2024) International Conference on Research in Air Transport (ICRAT 2024).
